A super easy and quick recipe for a fruity frozen yogurt sandwiched between two graham crackers, so easy it’s magic!
With this quick and healthy frozen treat, perfect for a hot summer afternoon, you’ll have a blast without too much effort and guiltiness. Anytime is the right time for an ice cream sandwich, one more if it’s a froyo sandwich.
Furthermore it will be a fun project for all the family: kids will love to help in the kitchen to make them and will love even more when it’ll be time to eat them!!!
This recipe makes about 12 servings.
You can substitute strawberries and bananas with a cup of your favorite fruit mix.
1/2 cup sliced strawberries
1/2 cup sliced bananas
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup whipped topping, thawed
24 square honey grahams crackers (or cinnamon grahams crackers)
TIP: I used a brand of honey grahams crackers that comes in rectangles that break easily in squares along the perforation line in their middle so you can use 12 honey grahams crackers and break them in two to have the 24 square cookies needed.
1 – Cut the fresh fruit and put in a medium bowl. Blend them coarsely, leaving some chances of fruit. Mix the blended fruit with yogurt and whipped topping.
2 – Line a 9-inch baking sheet with parchment paper. On bottom of sheet arrange 12 square graham crackers in 3 rows of 4 pieces. Spread over graham pieces the fruity mixture and cover the top with remaining half graham crackers.
3 – Freeze for at least 2 hours to set firm. Cut between grahams into 12 frozen yogurt sandwiches, let stand at room temperature for about 5 minutes and…
