My recipe for this video (includes alternatives)….
Base:
Pre-made pizza dough from grocery store deli/bakery (frozen Pillsbury works too)
1 small can Tomatoe/Marinara Sauce
1 block Mozzerella Cheese (pre-shredded works too)
Toppings/Fillings (really whatever you want):
Baby Portobello Mushrooms (I used one handful)
1 Green Bell Pepper
1 pack Mini Pepperoni
2 TBSP Butter (melted)
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 TBSP grated Parmesan Cheese
Supplies:
Large cone shaped cake mold (or foil. LOTS of it.)
Baking sheet
Rolling pin
Pastry brush
Step 1: Pre-heat oven to 375F. Prep cheese, mushroom, bell pepper by your preference (chopped, sliced, shredded). I flash fried my veggies in a pan for 3 mins just to cook them down a bit.
Step 2: Flatten pizza dough with a rolling pin then wrap dough around upside down cake mold. Or crumple enough foil to make an upside down cone & wrap dough around that.
Step 3: Brush melted butter all over dough. Then pre-bake in oven for about 6-8 minutes. Watch closely.
Step 4: Remove from oven and let cool a bit.
Step 5: Remove cake mold (or foil) from inside of cone. Reusing that foil & adding more, make a mold around the cone so it is supported facing up. (Placing it in a huge pot makes a world of difference)
Step 6: Line the inside with your preferred sauce, then fill with cheese, bell peppers, mushrooms & half the pack of pepperoni until cone is full. Or, whatever the hell you like on your pizza. The place remaining pepperoni on top.
Step 7: Combine remaining butter, garlic powder, & parmesan cheese & brush on top crust.
Step 8: Bake in oven again, for about 20-30 mins (watching closely) to make sure the insides are melted thoroughly. Voilà!
*HealthyJunkFood has a video showing the huge-pot technique which really helps the process. Don't be intimidated, making giant pizza cones is much easier than it appears in their video, just take your time! It's fun for the fam & very easy, especially if you already have experience making regular pizzas! Enjoy!
