Sindhi Kadhi is a North Indian recipe made using vegetables, gram flour and spices. This main dish goes well with steam rice and sweet boondi. Try out delicious Sindhi specialty and share your feedback in the comments below.
5 tbsp Ghee
10-12 Fenugreek seeds
1 tsp Mustard seeds
1 tsp Cumin seeds
1 tbsp Coriander seed powder
1 tsp Ginger-garlic paste
1/2 cup Gram flour
A pinch of Asafoetida
1 tsp Red Chilli powder
200 grams Vegetables (100 grams each)
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1/2 Ltr Water
4 Medium Sized Tomatoes, pureed
Salt to taste
3-4 pcs Kokum
Heat ghee in a vessel, fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, coriander seed powder, ginger-garlic paste and saute it.
Add gram flour and saute it on medium flame.
Add asafoetida, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, water, tomato puree, mix well.
Add vegetables, salt, kokum, close the lid and cook it on medium flame until the vegetables are cooked.
MIx the curry in small intervals.
Our Sindhi Kadhi is ready to serve.
